Vecchione Albisser
Fabrizia Vecchione’s career encompasses editorial direction and cultural production across architecture and art. She held editorial positions at renowned magazines including Domus (Milan), leading roles within the exhibition and publication departments at OMA (Rotterdam), and later at Herzog & de Meuron (Basel). Working on major international events—among them the 14th edition of the documenta exhibition in Athens and Kassel, and the 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale—she has honed her expertise in exhibition-making, mediation, large-scale project management, and forged lasting relationships with a broad community of practitioners and thinkers. Based in Basel since 2018, she draws on a diverse practice and international network to foster unique collaborations and projects across the creative field. She completed her Master’s degree in Architecture at the University of Florence, with a focus on contemporary publishing.
Luiz Albisser is a Swiss-Brazilian designer based in Basel specializing in interiors, scenography and object design. His practice is nurtured by an ongoing exchange with creatives from the design field and industries including art, film-making, and manufacturing. Since 2022, he collaborates with Art Basel rethinking the fair’s public areas, experimenting with reuse and responsible material sourcing. His clients, thus far, include: Gadget, Dept., and Universal Music, for whom he designed workspaces, as well as a range of private and public entities from both the cultural and commercial sectors. He completed his design education at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst (HGK) Basel, and his work has been recognized with multiple design awards.
